Courtyard Museum Kramsach
On an area of 8.5 hectares in Kramsach, 14 historic Tyrolean farms and 23 outbuildings (barns, chapels, etc.) have been reconstructed. The museum farms are arranged along a valley that largely reflects Tyrol's geographical location. The farms are open and accessible, and some feature contemporary furnishings.
Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens
Embedded in a mysterious park, a glittering fairytale landscape awaits you, which invites you to dream. In 14 subterranean chambers, the multimedia artist André Heller created in 1995 for the 100th anniversary of Swarovski a place of wonder.
The constantly changing crystal dress of the rooms reflects the joy of innovation and dynamism as the highest maxims of the world's leading manufacturer of precisely cut crystals.
Alpine Zoo
More than 2,000 animals from 150 species from across the Alpine region invite you to an exciting visit to Europe's highest zoo. Young and old alike feel at home in the Alpine Zoo: The goldcrest, weighing just 5 grams, is a true lightweight, and the bearded vulture, with its 3-meter wingspan, is the largest bird in the Alps. A special experience for the whole family!
Achensee Steam Rack Railway
The world's oldest exclusively steam-powered cogwheel locomotives are more than 117 years old. Whistling locomotives, hissing and steaming valves, pounding pistons, and thumping exhausts guarantee an unforgettable steam train experience. From Jenbach station, a 16% gradient and a 45-minute journey lead to Lake Achensee. It's the largest lake in Tyrol, and there's a direct connection to the Achensee boat service.
Krimml Waterfalls
The Krimml Waterfalls – the largest in Europe – are the fifth highest waterfalls in the world, with an impressive drop of 380 meters over three stages. A hiking trail created by the Austrian Alpine Association (OeAV) leads directly to this breathtaking natural spectacle. Experience the refreshing spray and the imposing power of the water amidst the stunning mountain scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Jenbacher Museum
The Jenbach Museum, with its 700 square meters of exhibition space and 19 rooms, features exhibits, photos, and documents on the following topics:
Industry: Scythe production, Jenbach works, railways
Nature: Butterflies, birds, mushrooms, snails, and mussels
Sports: Alpine and winter sports
History: Jenbach's history, important Jenbach residents, the South Tyrolean option of 1939
Graveyard Museum "without the dead"
A trip to the city of Rattenberg is ideal for a visit of the so-called "exemplary cemetary". This cemetary "without the dead", which has been put together with a lot of hard work by the Guggenberger Family, beautiful examples of old craftsmanship have found a new home. Visitors are inspired by the inscriptions to consider life and death in a pleasant and contemplative atmosphere.
Tratzberg Castle
It was built in 1500 high above the Inn Valley between Jenbach and Stans and served as a hunting lodge for Emperor Maximilian I and the Fugger family. This late-Gothic architectural gem was richly furnished during the Renaissance and has been the residence of the Counts of Enzenberg since 1848. Excellently preserved and fully furnished, Tratzberg Castle offers visitors a fascinating audio tour (a fairytale version for children) that conveys the history of that era in an engaging way.
Rattenberg
Closely bordered by the Inn River, the medieval town of Rattenberg nestles against the Schlossberg hill. Rattenberg's nearly 600 residents live in carefully restored town houses, making it the smallest town in Austria. Rattenberg is also known as the "Glass Town." Here, you'll find everything that lends glass its special beauty: engraved and painted glass, crystal glass, plates, cups, bowls, and more. You can also watch glassblowers at work.
Hasegg Castle with Mint Tower and Mint Museum
The Hall Mint Museum—the birthplace of the thaler and the modern-day dollar—traces a past in which wealth was measured in hard cash, money still had a magical sheen, and currency was as hard as the material from which it was minted. Modern audio guides guide visitors through half a millennium of European coin history.
Golden Roof
Visit the Interactive Museum with newly adapted exhibition spaces dedicated to the life and work of Emperor Maximilian I (1459-1519) and his era. The new "Children's World" invites young visitors on an exciting journey of discovery through the museum. Enjoy a magnificent view from the magnificent oriel of the Golden Roof.
Innsbruck
The state capital. In the heart of the Alps, diverse cultural circles from historical eras and scenic beauty meet in a unique way. The city boasts many sights – the "Golden Roof" in the beautiful old town is definitely not to be missed. For children, a visit to the Alpine Zoo is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
Kufstein Fortress
The imposing "Kufstein Fortress" has long since secured its place among Tyrol's most popular tourist destinations. The "journey back in time at the adventure castle" is a magnet for locals, day-trippers, and vacationers alike. The extensively renovated fortress represents the much-admired and multifaceted jewel of the "Pearl of Tyrol" and today offers culture and history buffs an astonishing range of impressions and services.
Wolfsklamm St. Georgenberg
It's been more than 100 years since the Wolfsklamm Gorge in Stans was opened. Thousands of visitors have already witnessed this unique natural spectacle, and the Stallenbach stream, with its steep gradient creating white spray or an emerald-green glow in the depths, continues to delight. The bridges and wooden walkways are masterpieces of craftsmanship and lead over 354 meters to the Georgenberg, where the Karwendel Alpine Park begins.
Schwaz Silver Mine
Experience a fascinating underground adventure in the Schwaz silver mine. This exciting journey back in time to the silvery medieval past begins with a first highlight: a ride on a railway 800 meters deep into the Sigmund Erbstollen, first opened in 1491. The Schwaz miners possessed the best mining expertise of the time and made Schwaz the largest mining metropolis in Central Europe and the second-largest town in the Habsburg Empire.
House of Peoples
Western Austria's only folklore museum presents more than 1,000 exhibits from the collection of Tyrolean Africa expert and photographer Gert Chesi on an exhibition space of 1,000 square meters. The largest part of the museum is dedicated to Africa and its art and culture; important Buddha depictions, along with Chinese excavations, form the core of the Asian collection.

The Zeiss Planetarium in Schwaz brings you a little closer to the heavens. With the help of precision instruments, special effects projectors, and audio and video equipment, the events unfolding above us in the cosmos are presented and explained. With constantly changing shows, the Zeiss Planetarium is a cosmic cinema.
