Hike to Grüblspitze
From the holiday home you can take the Eggalmbahn up to 2,000 meters. Now we continue on foot, up to the 2,395 meter high Grüblspitze, the one and a half hour walk always leads uphill. The reward is a fantastic view over the surrounding mountain peaks down to the valley. The descent can be done via the Zilljöchl and leads through the Alpine rose slopes to the Stoankasern snack station. This last stop can be combined with a visit to the mountain cheese dairy, where a tasting should not be missed. You need to plan around 5 hours for the entire hike.
Hike to Torsee
With the trip to Torsee you can expect a beautiful circular tour of medium difficulty. At the beginning there are a few meters of altitude to overcome, the hiking trail leads to the Nasse-Tux-Alm at around 1,800 meters and finally over the Ramsjoch at 2,500 meters. On the panoramic tours you can feel nature, discover herbs such as thyme or gentian and finally reach the picturesque Torsee. Simply a feast for all the senses.
Embark on the Tux Alpine Hiking Trail, the Penken Moor Nature Trail, the Rosenkranzweg or choose your own individual tour! Hikes can be combined at any time with the most beautiful excursion destinations in the area, such as the Tuxer Mühle, the Stoankasern mountain cheese dairy or the Spannagelhöhle.
Cycling tours in the Tux-Finkenberg holiday region

A tour to the Geiseljoch, the Grieralm, the Tuxerjoch or a trip to Mayrhofen with the Zillertal cycle path that starts there - if you want to go mountain biking in the Tux Alps, you have plenty of choice. There are always opportunities along the way to combine excursions with sights and other leisure activities - for example a stop at the Mayrhofen adventure pool!
Travel comfortably: trips with the e-bike
Excursions on the bike do not necessarily have to be a strenuous effort, even if there are several meters of altitude to overcome. With the e-bike, every journey becomes easy. The integrated motors support the pedaling movement, so you always ride with a tailwind. There are rental stations directly in Lanersbach, but also in the surrounding towns.
The best single trails in the area include the Wiesenalm in the Zillertal Arena and the Himmelfahrt and Höllenritt routes on Actionberg Penken. Adventurous bikers can experience the finest downhill feeling here.
